This seems sort of basic and may not affect the deeper feelings you have about it's impact... but from an outsider's perspective, what about a better color differentiation between the sky and the dragon guy? They're very similar.
Hello cousin! Yeah he's actually supposed to kind of blend in with the sky...but maybe you're right and that is one of the problems...I actually struggled for a long time about how to paint him, and maybe it wasn't the best decision...:) Thanks for the comment!
